My favourite film


Objectives: - to systematize lexical materials on the topic;
- to practice the active vocabulary of the topic;
- to develop speaking, reading, listening skills through various activities;
- to develop pupils thinking, memory, imagination, attention and creativeness.
Очікуваний результат: учні навчаться аналізувати та систематизувати інформацію з теми уроку
 Aids: a fragment of the films; multimedia presentation, , cards with tasks,cassettes, videos.
The procedure:
I. Introduction
1.  GREETING
- Good morning, children. And now say our guests “Hello”.
- OK. Welcome to our English lesson. Nice to meet you.
Let’s start our lesson song “Hello”

2. Phonetic Drill
Look on the blackboard. There are two gloves with sound [Iə] and [εə].These are animals with words. You have to reading these words and attaching them to sound. Understand me?

3. Warm-up

1.  Announcing the subject and the aims of the lesson
 - Our topic is … Oh. I’ve forgotten what’s our lesson about. Would you like to help me?
- Look at the blackboard and decode our  topic.

 








- At first, read green letters, then – red, and then – blue.
- Oh. That’s nice. The topic of our lesson is … Say me all together - “My  favourite film ”
Tasks:
1.     Revice our vocabulary of the topic.

2. Vocabulary Introduction
- Now, please look at the screen and try to guess what film it is? (The teacher shows excerpts from films and students should name the movie. Teacher helps to pronounce it in English)

- Who can you see on the picture?(I can you see two boys: Bill and Nick)
- What are they doing? (They are watching a film)
- And now listening this dialogue and then say me “What is the film about?”

4. Reading

5. Relaxation
- Are you tired? Let’s have a rest and sing the song «I am playing a team game»
6. Works in pairs  
-The next tack will be exercise 2 on page 61
- Look  at this pictures . It’s famous films and cartoons.
- Have you ever watched these films or cartoons? (Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.)
-  OK, and now  ______ read this task, please. (Read)
